The new Centre for Innovation, Business and Manufacturing (CIBM) Business Awards, which have been introduced by the SA Centre for Innovation, Business and Manufacturing as the state's peak industry competition, were awarded during the month of November.
Viscount Plastics won in the Large Manufacturer (over $20 million) category.
A total of 70 companies entered this year's awards, which replace the former Manufacturer of the Year Awards.
Viscount Plastics South Australian facility is the automotive centre for the group nationally and was a finalist in the Manufacturer of the Year Awards in 2001. About 80 per cent of its automotive business is for customers including Mitsubishi, Holden, Schefenacker and Bridgestone.
