Viscount forms new joint venture in China

Viscount Plastics has entered into a joint venture with a local Chinese toolmaker for the manufacture and repair of an extensive range of internal and customer tools. The new venture will be based in Changzhou , which is strategically located between the major centres of Shanghai and Nanjing .
Viscount Plastics has been a leading supplier to multi-national corporations in the China region for over 10 years, providing a range of rigid packaging containers for the industrial, retail and food sectors. The Viscount name has become synonymous with high quality, durable products and this result is largely dependent on the performance of its injection moulding tools.
Viscount has now entered into a joint venture with a local toolmaker, Ninhai Oriental, to develop and maintain tools. Managing Director Mike Dwyer said "Our multi-national customers expect us to provide a complete solution including design, tooling and manufacture and this partnership will ensure Viscount will continue to exceed customer expectations".
